The Upwey Tecoma Cricket Club is affiliated in the Ferntree Gully District Cricket Association and fields teams in senior and junior grades. New members are always welcome
The Upwey Tecoma Cricket Club is a community club with close ties to the football club as well as the communities in Upwey and Tecoma. We are a level 3 good sports club and confidently state that we are a great family club in both the on-field and off field areas. Our junior coaches and coaching programmes are the finest around. Our facilities are outstanding which includes a new $50,000 net facility and of course club rooms that are the envy of clubs across all competitions. We love our cricket and we love the environment we have created for all of our club members to enjoy.
Club Coach and Club Captain appointed

It is with great pleasure that the Upwey Tecoma C.C announces that Brendan Heath has been appointed as our non playing club coach and Sam Waters has been appointed as our Club Captain for the coming season.
Sam Waters is a true home grown talent having come through the juniors and has opened our bowling for the past 4 or so years and consistently been amongst the top wicket takers in the competition every season and is of course a Premiership player with the club. Sam has been our Vice Captain under Sam Taylor and Matthew Mulcahy and on various occassions has filled in as Captain during their absences and has impressed everyone with his knowledge of the game, his tactics and stratgey and match awareness. Sam applied for the role as Captain without prompting and delivered a very strong presentation outlined his approach as Captain in a manner that thoroughly impressed the executive and showed how this young man has grown into a true leader as well as a great player. We are genuinely excited that Sam is our Captain and we look forward to seeing him at the helm of the firsts this season as well as playing an integral leadership role with players from all grades.
Brendan Heath is a 6 time premiership player with the club and over his career has won multiple batting and bowling awards and association wide accolades for his cricketing abilities as well as being in our "team of the last 25 years". Brendan is rated by many to be in the top 5 batsmen of all time in the competition as well as an outstanding bowler. Brendan has been at the club for over 15 years and is a past CaptainCoach of the 1st XI. Brendan also made an outstanding presentation to the executive on his plans for the entire club, both juniors and seniors and as a non playing coach will be dedicating his time to lifting team and individual performances and passing on his wealth of knowledge to all players. We are absolutely thrilled to have secured the services of Brendan for the coming season and believe that we now have the best possible leadership team in place for the season ahead.
